History
Tufti Mountain is a 3,176-foot summit in Lane County, Oregon. It was named for Tufti, a Native American who lived near the site of present-day Oakridge. The mountain is significant chiefly for this local naming history, which preserves the memory of an Indigenous person connected with the area.
