Geeting Covered Bridge carries Price Road over Price’s Creek west of Lewisburg, Ohio, and survives as a working example of the covered bridge tradition in western Ohio. Built in 1894 by local bridge builder Everett S. Sherman, with abutments by the Koppee Brothers, the timber span was made of white pine and named for nearby landowner Dave Geeting, the first to drive across it. Its long history of use has required repeated repairs after storm and vehicle damage, with major rehabilitation continuing into the 21st century. In 1975, its significance was recognized by listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
