Sitgreaves Mountain is a volcanic mountain in northern Arizona within the Kaibab National Forest, between Flagstaff and Williams, and is a prominent landmark along Interstate 40. Part of the San Francisco Volcanic Field, it shares its volcanic origin with nearby peaks such as Kendrick Peak. Rather than forming as a single sharply defined summit, it developed as a series of overlapping lava domes, creating a complex profile of numerous summits and false peaks. It also lies along the same fault line associated with Kendrick Peak and Bill Williams Mountain, linking it to the broader geological forces that shaped this region of Arizona.
