Hutton Lake National Wildlife Refuge is a protected wildlife area in southern Albany County, Wyoming, managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Spanning 1,968 acres above 7,000 feet, it centers on five natural alpine lakes and surrounding wetlands in an otherwise dry regional landscape. Established in 1932, it protects habitat for migratory birds as well as native plants and other wildlife, serving as an important stopover and breeding area. Administered by the Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge in Colorado, it gained an added conservation role in 2023 with the establishment of the Wyoming Toad Conservation Area through the acquisition of 1,078 acres.
