Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park is a New Mexico park near Las Cruces, just west of Mesilla, along the Rio Grande. Covering about 305 acres at roughly 3,900 feet elevation, it protects a bosque, the riverside woodland found along parts of the river. Its river woodlands and restored wetlands provide habitat for migratory birds, making it an important birdwatching destination. The park also serves walkers and bicyclists and is open for day use only, without camping.
