Lake Washington County Park is a 164-acre public park in southern Minnesota on the northwest shore of Lake Washington, about 10 miles northeast of Mankato. Established in 1971 by the Le Sueur County government and managed by Le Sueur County, it preserves a stretch of lakeshore while serving as a local recreation area. The park’s setting is linked to Lake Washington, named for President George Washington. Today it is used mainly for outdoor leisure, with hiking trails, a 31-site campground, and a community building among its amenities.
