Thomas Gregor Bligh bought this property from the Salem Elks Fraternal Organization in 1922. In 1924, a year after constructing this Mission Revival building, he died in an automobile accident. In 1927, his wife Anna sold the property to Charles P. Bishop, owner of Pendleton Woolen Mills. Olson Florist shop has occupied this site since 1926.
