Bandon State Natural Area is an 879-acre state park on Oregon’s southern coast, about five miles south of Bandon. Managed by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, it preserves a low-lying coastal stretch crossed by the Oregon Coast Trail and is intended for simple day use rather than heavy development. Three entrances serve different parking areas, with the southern access points offering more basic beach entry and the Devil’s Kitchen area providing picnic tables, benches, restrooms, and beach paths. Hiking, birdwatching, fishing, picnicking, and shoreline access make it a relatively quiet coastal destination that receives about 27,000 day users each year.
