Catawba Island State Park is a small Ohio park on Lake Erie about six miles northeast of Port Clinton. Encompassing 10 acres, it serves as a modest public recreation area focused on lakeside access rather than extensive inland development. Its chief uses are boating, fishing, and picnicking. Established in the early 1950s as part of Ohio’s Lake Erie state parks group, it has remained one of the smaller public access points along this section of shoreline.
