Jarrell Cove State Park on Harstine Island in south Puget Sound is a 67-acre Washington state park with forested land and 3,500 feet of saltwater shoreline. Established in 1953 and enlarged during the 1960s, it was originally called Gerald Cove State Park before its spelling was corrected to Jarrell Cove in 1966 at the request of the Hartstene Island Grange. The park supports many outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, biking, boating, fishing, swimming, scuba diving, clamming, crabbing, beachcombing, birdwatching, and wildlife viewing. It also functions as the administrative center for five nearby satellite state parks, including a day-use Harstine Island unit about 2 miles away.
