Twanoh State Park is a public recreation area on the east side of Hood Canal in Washington, southwest of Belfair. Named for the Native American Twana people, better known as the Skokomish, it stands in part of their homeland. The area was later logged, and evidence of that 1890s past still appears on the woodland trails. Washington first leased land here for park use in 1922, then purchased and dedicated the park in 1923. It is also significant for a well-preserved collection of 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps structures, recognized by its 2014 listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
