New Glarus Woods State Park is a four hundred thirty-one-acre park in Green County, Wisconsin, just south of New Glarus, where rolling hills combine forest and prairie into a landscape shaped by both woodland and open ground. It serves as a recreation area for hiking, camping, and biking, and its connection to the Sugar River State Trail extends its reach beyond the park itself. Through that link to the Badger State Trail, it forms part of a broader regional route through southern Wisconsin and is accessible by bicycle.
