The M60 A3 battle tank was produced from 1960 to 1987 by the Detroit Arsenal Tank Plant, Chrysler. It weighed 46 tons, carried a 105mm (4.1in) M68 gun as its main armament, used a V-12 twin turbo diesel engine, and had a top road speed of 30mph. It honors all service men and women who gave their lives in service to the nation, and it is in loving memory of Charles "Chuck" Franklin (1943-2013).
