Granite Mountain is a 2,036-metre peak in the Rossland Range of the Monashee Mountains in southeastern British Columbia’s West Kootenay region. Standing just northwest of Rossland, it rises with a prominence of 134 metres. It is one of the three summits that form the core of Red Mountain Ski Resort, together with Grey Mountain and Red Mountain. Among those three peaks, Granite Mountain is the second highest, giving it a central place in the resort’s mountain landscape.
