The Marines of yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and those who served with them, are honored with the words Semper Fidelis and God, Country, Corps. The Lakeland Marine Detachment #744 in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey dedicated the Marine Monument and Walk on September 13, 1998, and associated it with November 10, 1775.
