Built in 1820, this stone structure served as the Kuntz family homestead. William Kuntz was a prominent landowner, saddler, and businessman in Walnutport. Along with his sons, he owned and operated the Slate Exchange Hotel on Main Street. Kuntz sold a portion of his land for the construction of the Lehigh Canal in Walnutport.
