Rogers Warm Spring is a geothermal spring near Overton in southern Nevada on Lake Mead’s north shore, within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Part of the North Shore Complex terminal discharge area of a regional carbonate-rock aquifer, it emerges along the Rogers Spring Fault into a large pond, with a nearby smaller pool and waterfall. The mineral water rises at about 82°F and flows at roughly 1,000 gallons per minute. Local Native peoples used these springs long before immigrant settlement. Later efforts to divert the water to farmland in 1903 and to create a waterfowl refuge between 1938 and 1943 were left unsuccessful or unfinished.
