The Pump House is a small, square, one-story structure. A two-story garage and apartment was attached to it when that addition was constructed in the 1950s. The well under the Pump House was undoubtedly hand-dug and would have been one of the first improvements made to the farm. Until the 1950s, when electricity finally reached this structure, all water used on the farm, including water for the farm animals, was hand pumped and carried.
