The Perkins Building housed the C.M. Condon and Company Bank at the time of the infamous Dalton Gang raid on the Condon and First National Banks on October 5, 1892. The building was later placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior, and its restoration was dedicated on October 5, 1992.
