Company "A" of the 211th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers was composed of men who enlisted in Crawford County and went forth in defense of their country in the Civil War of 1861-1865. Its officers included Captain Elias B. Lee, 1st Lieutenant Arthur C. Huidekoper, and 2nd Lieutenant Julius M. Bates.
