Treetops is a Connecticut state park occupying the former estate of singer and actress Libby Holman on the Stamford-Greenwich border. Forming the southernmost section of the Mianus River Park system and managed as part of Mianus River State Park, it combines protected open space with a historic estate landscape. In 2001, local citizens blocked proposed development, preserving 94 acres as state parkland and placing another 11 acres around the mansion under a conservation easement. The property is also tied to Holman’s life, and the mansion includes restored rooms such as the studio of her third husband, abstract artist Louis Schanker.
