The Yakima Electric Railway Museum in Yakima, Washington, preserves part of the former Yakima Valley Transportation Company system and is closely connected to the city’s surviving streetcar line. Operated by Yakima Valley Trolleys, it offers free museum admission and seasonal vintage trolley rides on original track, with the City of Yakima owning the donated trolleys and rails. Its collection includes local rolling stock and two notable streetcars built in 1928 and 1929 in Oporto to Brill designs. In recent years, the operation faced closures, preservation concerns, and a temporary service suspension before resuming in January 2026 under an agreement running through 2030.
