Sulphur Gulch is a seasonal tributary of Cherry Creek on Colorado’s Eastern Plains in eastern Douglas County, about 20 miles southeast of Denver. It begins roughly 3 miles east of Parker and 5 miles north of Hilltop, then flows west to meet Cherry Creek in Bar CCC Park. Usually dry in summer unless heavy rain falls, it runs full in spring after snowmelt and has flooded several times. Beyond its role in the Cherry Creek drainage, trails along parts of the gulch give it a modest recreational use.
