Shine Tidelands State Park is a 249-acre Washington state park on Bywater Bay near Port Ludlow and the west end of the Hood Canal Bridge. With 5,000 feet of shoreline, it is oriented around access to tidelands and the nearshore environment. Its open shoreline and shallow coastal habitat support activities such as picnicking, fishing, shellfish harvesting, beachcombing, birdwatching, windsurfing, and wildlife viewing. In 2014, the park expanded to include the former Wolfe and Point Hannon properties. It remains significant for its long bay frontage and its position beside a main crossing of Hood Canal.
