After Solomon Mack's farm was sold by Daniel's father in 1811, the Daniel Mack family probably lived for many years at this site, where the old cellar and foundation remain. Lydia Gates Mack, the mother of Daniel and Lucy Mack Smith, lived here with Daniel until her death about 1817.
