Kamm and Schellinger Brewery is significant in the industrial heritage of Mishawaka and Indiana. Its first structures were built in 1853, and it expanded in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It was incorporated in 1883, and beer production ended in 1951. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
