The Nashville House
History
6
Since 1867, a public hostelry of one form or another has occupied this corner. It served the logging industry for many years and later became a gathering place for artists. In recent years it has become the cornerstone of the tourist industry in Brown County. The original building known as the Nashville House, since 1927, burned to the ground in 1943, and the present structure was completed in 1948.
