The WACO Air Museum in Troy, Ohio preserves the history of the Waco Aircraft Company at Waco Field Airport, a small airfield whose grass runway reinforces the site’s connection to aviation heritage. The museum began developing in 1997 with the opening of WACO Field and the raising of a historic barn. It expanded with a second building in 2009, when it also received airplanes, land vehicles, and other objects on loan from the Ohio Historical Society. Later additions included a theater built from a replica CG-4A glider in 2015, the prototype RPT in 2018, and an ongoing Learning Center project begun in 2017 and resumed in 2024.
