The City of Frontenac, Kansas recognizes the contributions and sacrifices of those who served in the Armed Forces and dedicates this memorial to those patriots. Among those killed in action were John F. Derby in World War I, and John Kreus, Henry H. Albertson, Camille Mangile, John Deplue, Joe Marucci, Jack Fisher, Ned Menichetti, John Genisio, and Harold Schultz in World War II.
