Built in 1856, the Arnold School House operated as a school until 1957. Its original location was at the intersection of Hosner and Lakeville roads, west of the white Church. The Church used it as an auditorium. In 2009 the building was in desperate need of repair, and the Church offered it to the Township. With local private donations and labor from the community, it was moved to this site to preserve its rich history. It is currently used for Addison Township Park and Recreation meetings and as a nature preserve greeting center.
