The Holiday Veterans Memorial is dedicated to the sons and daughters of the area who served in their country's military forces in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Mexican War, the Civil War, the Spanish/American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Among the honored dead named are Clifford Cole, Basil Lewis, Donald Bliss, Leland Eggleston, and Will Whitney from World War II, and Carl Carson from the Vietnam War.
