Wayne Township honors the people who left Wayne to serve their country in the First World War from 1914 to 1918, in World War II, and in Korea, Vietnam, and the peacekeeping forces, recording long rolls of names from the community. It also remembers those of Wayne who gave their lives in World War II and specifically honors Paul H. Barber, who was killed in action on September 30, 1918, near Cierges, France.
