Mount Nebo is a prominent morainic drift hill in Stowe Prairie Township in northwestern Todd County, central Minnesota, rising about 1,512 feet between Hewitt and Wadena. Named for the biblical peak from which Moses is said to have viewed the Promised Land, it has long stood out in the local landscape. In the later twentieth century, the hill became the site of a ski resort that operated through the 1970s and 1980s before closing. It remains a local landmark today, now serving modern utility purposes with an AT&T tower on the hill and a wind turbine on its west side.
