Westover School, located across from the Green, was once the site of the original blacksmith shop. The shop was later moved to Store Rd. near the place where the old trolley waiting room once stood. Its history stretched back to Civil War times, when it kept carriage and work horses trim, and years later the building was converted into a garage used to store antique cars.
