Construction began in 1930 by Jane Hatch, Lizzie Willis and Emma Kartchner. The building was neglected for several years, and in the early 1950's seven couples agreed to save the home, which became the clubhouse for the 20-30 Club. On November 2, 1987, the LDS Church deeded the Pioneer Home to the 20-30 Club. On July 5, 1997, it opened as the Taylor Pioneer Museum.
