Pontotoc County honored its dead from World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and Operation Iraqi Freedom by naming the local men lost in each conflict, from Orba M. Allen and Willard V. Allford in World War I to Ericson H. Petty in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
