Sturgeon Bay Canal North Pierhead Light stands on Sturgeon Bay in Door County, Wisconsin, marking the north pier at the southern entrance to the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal. Painted red and set at the water’s edge where the canal meets the bay, it serves as the immediate guide on the pier itself. It is one of two lighthouses at this site, alongside the Sturgeon Bay Canal Lighthouse. Together, the two lights mark an important canal entrance and help guide passage between the bay and canal.
