Nature
Yatesville Lake State Park is a Kentucky state park in the eastern part of the state near Louisa, set on a peninsula that extends into Yatesville Lake, a 2,300-acre impoundment of Blaine Creek. The lake, with three islands and an average depth of 40 feet, shapes the park’s character as a center for water recreation. Visitors use the area for boating, fishing, and swimming, while the park also provides campsites, hiking trails, and an 18-hole golf course. It serves as a recreational base for enjoying both the lake and the surrounding landscape.
