Richard Falley was a friend of liberty and his country, a soldier in the American Revolution, and armorer to the 18th Mass. regiment. Around 1765 he built an armory at Mt. Tekoa and made muskets for the patriot cause. This site was the location of his home and blacksmith shop from about 1764 to 1783.
