The Schisler Museum of Wildlife and Natural History and McMunn Planetarium at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania bring together public outreach and university teaching in a shared science setting. On the ground floor of the Warren E. '55 and Sandra Hoeffner Science and Technology Center, the museum features habitat recreations built around more than 130 wildlife specimens from around the world, with special emphasis on Africa, North America, North American deer, ducks, insect displays, and a Delaware River aquarium. Named for alumni donors, the museum was completed in 2013 and opened to the public in 2016, while the planetarium, founded in 2008, presents digital programs, custom star shows, and science classes.
