Paisley United Methodist Church is one of the oldest wood frame churches in northern Lake County. In 1898, Mininie and Herman Sadler of San Francisco donated lots 4 and 5 of Block F Paisley for this structure and parsonage. On Aug. 9, 1900, the property was deeded to the congregation. On Feb. 3, 1901, the church was completed and dedicated as the United Methodist Church.
