Keiter Mound is a Native American archaeological site in southwestern Ohio, north of Wilmington, on a wooded hill above Anderson Fork. A small, isolated earthwork believed to have been built by Hopewellian peoples thousands of years ago, it differs from major Hopewell centers because no nearby mound group or geometric earthworks surround it. Archaeologists have suggested it may have been created by transient hunters camping in the valley rather than by a large settled community. Never substantially excavated and still in near-pristine condition despite slight scarring on its flat top, it may preserve grave goods and offers valuable evidence of isolated Hopewell construction and life. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
