East Fork State Park is a 4,870-acre public recreation area in southwestern Ohio near Cincinnati, built around William H. Harsha Lake, a 2,107-acre reservoir formed in 1978 by damming the East Fork of the Little Miami River. Operated in part through U.S. Army Corps of Engineers water-control structures, the park combines major infrastructure with extensive outdoor recreation. It includes the 33-mile Steve Newman World-Walker Perimeter Trail and supports camping, hiking, swimming, boating, and fishing. The lake has also hosted junior and collegiate rowing races and the US Rowing Youth National Championships, making the park one of the region’s larger and more versatile recreation areas.
