Bridgeport State Park is a 622-acre public recreation area in north-central Washington on the north shore of Rufus Woods Lake, a Columbia River reservoir created by Chief Joseph Dam. Established after the dam's completion in 1955, the park grew from a partnership between Washington State Parks and the Army Corps of Engineers, with leases renewed in 1990 and 2015. With about 7,500 feet of shoreline, it serves as a major public access point to this stretch of the reservoir. The park centers on water recreation and overnight use, offering camping, hiking trails, and facilities for boating, fishing, swimming, and golf.
