Mt. Gretna Tabernacle

2
Built for the United Brethren in Christ during the summer of 1899 by John Cilley of Lebanon, this open circular building, 110 feet in diameter and resting on 23 chestnut posts, can accommodate 800 to 1000 people. During its first century it sheltered a variety of worship services, musical programs, lectures, baptisms, weddings and funerals. These continue at this United Methodist historic site, still expressing God's Glory at Gretna.
