At Valles Mines, an artesian spring nine hundred feet deep was drilled circa 1900 and yields water identified as 99.9% pure. The water from this artesian spring has been offered free to anyone who wants to use it for over one hundred years, while the taxes and upkeep of this unique watershed have increased every year.
