Marin-Bolinas Botanical Gardens in Bolinas, California, is a 14-acre botanical garden created by retired physician Dr. Herman Schwartz and especially known for its succulents. Over time it grew to include more than 2,000 species. Its features include six greenhouses, including houses devoted to aloes and euphorbias, and a children’s garden containing 280 kinds of succulents. A 6.5-acre garden of native Marin County flowers has also been under development. As of 2018, the gardens were not open to the public.
