Red Kill Ridge is a mountain in New York's Catskill Mountains, northeast of Denver. Also known as Butternut Mountain, it takes its name from the nearby Red Kill. The ridge is part of a cluster of Catskill summits, with Cator Roundtop to the northwest and both White Man Mountain and Red Mountain to the north. Its significance lies in its place within this mountain landscape and in the local naming that links the ridge to the surrounding terrain.
