IXL Schoolhouse stood in the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 5, Township 17 North, Range 2 East in Payne County, Oklahoma, as part of an official Oklahoma Centennial Commemoration project funded in part through a grant made possible by the Oklahoma Legislature and by Payne County Bank.
