Old City Hall served as the Iberville Parish Courthouse from 1848 to 1906 and as Plaquemine City Hall from 1906 to 1985. It was built by George and Thomas Weldon of Mississippi and is one of Louisiana's oldest public buildings. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
